Raising Horns Over The World - Road to Wacken 2021

Seven years ago, when I was 40 years old I promised myself to live a Decade of Craziness with music. I came from years where work and others hobbies occupied most of my time and I had the feeling that music was left in the background.

So, I decided to remove this feeling, first of all, by discovering new bands (as I had previously done in the beginning of Century) but, above all, by attending the most number of concerts and festivals that I could.

Now, I have to say I am on the way to accomplish that promise: I have known incredible bands, we (Gloria has been also on tour ;-) have attended concerts and festivals in more than 10 countries (even in USA), we have traveled a lot and we have met extraordinary people also.

All of this have made me happier and happier with the pass of years, reaching so many euphoric feelings when music has been present in my life.

But nothing lasts forever, it's time to plan the end of this project, this Crazy Decade, and there is a day and a place: 2021 August the 1th, Sunday, in Wacken Open Air, in my 50th birthday.

So, let's make a plan, I have 3 years to finish the project and my most remarkable thoughts are:

2019 :

Nova Rock and  Dr Music Festival among others (waiting to decide August festival, unfortunately Resu seems not possible).
Paradise Lost in Halifax, or at least in London or UK, where they are Gods (30th Anniversary Tour?), and of course, in every gig in an area of 1000km radius from Vilassar ;-)
Parkway Drive in London.
Gojira, wherever they perform.

2020 :

Metaldays in Slovenija and Graspop among others (Resu will be a must again).
Iron Maiden in Madison Square Garden (this could be postponed to 2021).
Arch Enemy in Japan (who says...we expect to travel to Asia this year).
Amon Amarth in Sweden.

2021 :

70.000 Tons of Metal, Hellfest among others.
Iron Maiden in Madison Square Garden (in case we missed in 2020).
Iron Maiden Meet&Greet (that's the most difficult goal, undoubtedly).

and

WACKEN OPEN AIR 

The aim of this blog is to publish pictures from my best metal music experiences during these years and the idea is keeping up to date according my event's attendance. The blog will end by August the 1th, 2021.
